Frank Mazzotta of PRD Bexley North & Ramsgate Beach was honoured with the John Harvey Award for his dedication and excellence in real estate management at the Annual Awards.

Frank Mazzotta is known throughout the PRD network as a consummate professional, always striving for a high level of achievement. As the panellists noted, he’s “the type of person we all strive to be in this industry, both in and out of the office”.

Frank also strives to share his knowledge. “I have a keen ambition for sharing with up and coming people in the industry,” he said. “I love the environment in my offices. I like for people to feel a friendly family environment. Being happy where they work and succeeding in what they do.

“In my early years I was learning myself, but now I always share. We had a panel discussion at Principal’s Forum and I am happy to share what I do. I’ve found some agents are so secretive in what they do. I can understand secrets with competitors, but not the people you work with.”

He went on to explain that he takes great pride in his offices and staff achievements. “I obviously like to be a leader in my offices,” he said. “You have to emulate that across the offices.”

And he admits he is still learning. “I go to the Principal’s Forum to share ideas, and to gain some for myself and see what others are doing. When you look at someone like Mark Kentwell or Darren Latty, who are successful, you can spend time sharing ideas there. They’re all good blokes and switched on.”

“I love making people happy,” said Frank. “I really get a kick out of auctions, exceeding expectations. It’s a real pleasure, my job.”

The John Harvey Award is named in honour of the founder and inaugural chairman of Nationwide Realty, John Harvey, and the PRD founding brothers, Archie and Gordon Douglas. This award is presented to a valued member of the group, recognising their outstanding contributions and service to PRD and the real estate industry.
