Recycle: The Smart Way!

Learn more about what you can recycle. Whitsunday Regional Council has signed up with Recycle Coach - be smart and do recycling right!

These are the following that you can recycle:
Paper: office paper, magazines, newspapers and junk mail
Cardboard
clean bottles and jars
Juice and milk cartons
All hard plastic bottles and containers marked 1 - 6
Steel (tin) and aluminium cans and empty aerosols

For your information! Soft plastics can be recycled at supermarkets, and batteries can be taken to Council service centres for recycling.
