This week we're bringing you our latest research report where the Whitsundays has been named as one of Australia's roaring regions in regards to affordability.
We've actually come out on top as region number one. That is due to really steady price growth in the median price of a property here in the local government area and really low in unemployment as well. So we are seen quite favorably as a property area to invest in.

Last weekend, I was delighted to say that a number of our team went to the gold coast for the annual PRD conference and Gala awards dinner.
We're incredibly blessed to walk away with many awards.
Lorna Sorfentein from our team was named Senior Property Manager of the year within the entire PRD network across the nation.
That is a real testament to Lorna's dedication to her role and for just doing such a fantastic job in everything we do. So we're stoked there and super proud of Lorna.
Our office also received a Platinum Sales Award. This is based on the sales volume that we did in the last 12 months in 2021.
We have also been named the top 10 office, so office number 10 in the rankings within our network, which was quite a surprise considering we're going up against big-city offices. So we are really packing a punch for a small regional area, far away from our neighbors down south, but I could not be prouder of the team.
We also saw a number of our salespeople receive awards. Helen Maund received a Gold Sales Award. Darryl Brewer and Dylan Hart received Silver Sales Awards and Kyle Davey and John Harris received Bronze Awards. So Amazing team effort there, with everybody contributing to the sales team's success.
We also had Kimberly Nunn, a little quiet achiever in our team. She's our finance officer, and we saw Kimberly be named a finalist in the support person of the year category. It is a real testament to the quiet, unsung work she does here for our team.
I could not be prouder of the team and could not be prouder of what we've achieved in the last 12 months.
