Hi, Annette Neil from PRDwhitsunday with this week's e-update.
The talk of the country at the moment, of course, a little bit controversial, is COVID-19 and all of the various lockdowns that are going on.

We just wanted to let you know that the Whitsundays is open for business.

It's the middle of the school holidays here, and although lockdowns are happening around the country and stopping people from traveling here,

there's still a massive market for the drive holidays here in Queensland. People from all over the state are still able to drive here to the Whitsundays.

Everything is open. It is business as usual, and there are some great deals out there because we have seen a lot of cancellations from interstate travellers, which means that accommodation has opened up that previously was fully booked out.

Take advantage of some of those last-minute bookings and come next week and come and enjoy everything that Whitsundays has to offer.

If you're an investor which we're getting a lot of investor inquiries at the moment, holiday letting is a great option to look at.

We have seen a bump of bookings probably for about the last six to nine months here as no one can travel overseas.

They all want to go somewhere on a holiday.

Everyone's itching to get out. The Whitsundays has seen a huge influx in tourist numbers, that of course, means they've all got to stay somewhere.
