Whitsunday Locals Came to the Rescue!

The Grassfire that destroyed a family home last week generated an outpouring of community spirit and incredible generosity from a local business.

PRD Property Manager Cheyenne Gurner jumped into action and found the Compton family somewhere to stay straight away.

When asked if they would like to share their story with Mackay and Whitsunday Life, the Compton’s said that "they would, but only if they could say thank you."
