Whitsunday Regional Council has partnered with My Community Directory to implement an online community directory and event diary.

The My Community Directory and Diary are free and accessible through the  Council’s website. https://www.whitsundayrc.qld.gov.au/whitsunday-community-directory

Council will also employ this for sharing information about community events and projects.

Mayor Andrew Willcox said the most notable benefit of the My Community Directory and Diary is providing locals and visitors to the region with easy access to all community information and resources.

“The platform also enables community groups, organisations, not-for-profit groups and essential service providers to list their information and submit events for free.
“Once registered, organisations will be able to manage their listings, ensuring they are accurate and up to date, provide links to their websites and social media platforms and list upcoming events.
“This will make it easier to connect with local groups and the activities and services they offer,” Mayor Willcox said.
